Satalum album is a wild evergreen tree that grows to a height of about 10 meters. Its pinnate leaves consist of leaflets up to 10 cm long, and the small butterfly flowers are veined yellow or red. The poorer the soil on which the tree grows, the more intensely fragrant is its wood. The valuable oil of harvest-ready 30-year-old sandalwood trees is contained not in the wood and in the roots of a tree. The colorless to pale yellow, slightly viscous oil is obtained by steam distillation. The oil has a positive effect on blood pressure, the bronchi and muscles. The “divine essence” has an antidepressant, aphrodisiac, calming, relaxing and harmonizing qualities. Item N 141
